Chicago Blackhawks players whose jerseys will feature Circa Sportsbook patches next season.

For the first time, the Chicago Blackhawks will wear a signature branded patch on their home jerseys.

The Blackhawks will adorn their iconic sweaters with a Circa Sports logo during the 2024-25 season.

Circa Sports and NHL sign multi-year deal

The National Hockey League team and the Las Vegas-based gaming company have signed a multi-year agreement that will place the Circa Sports logo on the Blackhawks jersey for home games starting in the upcoming hockey season at United Center. The Blackhawks are calling Circa Sports a “home jersey patch partner.”

According to a press statement released by the team, the patch will be visible on Blackhawks home jerseys during the NHL Draft, which will take place Friday and Saturday, June 28-29.

Circa Sports Illinois became the eighth Illinois sportsbook when it launched in September of 2023. The parent company operates the world’s largest sportsbook in Las Vegas, a three-story sports-lovers dream that features a 143-foot media screen, a multi-level amphitheater, and seating for as many as 1,000.

Sportsbook partnerships on the rise in the NHL

“We couldn’t be prouder to be adding Circa Sports to the Chicago Blackhawks roster of partners as they share in our goals to grow interest in our game and offer fans exciting and original experiences,” Jaime Faulkner, Blackhawks president of business operations, said.

This is at least the fourth instance of an NHL team securing a jersey patch partnership with a gaming company. Circa Sports has a similar arrangement with the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Arizona Coyotes and Washington Capitols have deals with Gila River Resorts & Casinos and Caesars Sportsbook, respectively.

Circa Sports is operational in five states, including Illinois. Residents and visitors can download and use the Circa Sports betting app in IL, or visit a Circa Sports retail sportsbook at American Place in Waukegan.

“Growing up as a hockey fan, I’m overwhelmed with the opportunity, and the responsibility, that goes along with partnering with an Original Six team and a team with the most iconic home jersey in sports. We are ecstatic to showcase the new Blackhawks jersey with such a young and exciting team,” said Derek Stevens, chief executive officer of Circa Sports.
