Circa Sports Signs New Partnership With Full House Resorts

Circa Sports is on its way to the Land of Lincoln. The company is partnering with Full House Resorts to offer sports betting to Illinois gamblers.

Circa plans to open a retail sportsbook at the upcoming American Place Casino in Waukegan, Illinois. That’s in addition to launching the company’s online sportsbook app in the state.

Circa Sports Illinois partnership

Legal sports betting in Illinois has led to all sorts of operators from around the country flooding into the state. Circa Sports is the latest example of that.

Circa might be new to Illinois, but it isn’t new to the US sports betting market. The company is already up and running in Nevada, Colorado and Iowa.

Circa Sports Founder Derek Stevens says that taking wagers in Illinois will be a huge step for the company.

“We are thrilled to introduce our industry-leading sports betting and hospitality experience to Illinois. We have developed incredible relationships with Midwest bettors at our Las Vegas casinos, so to bring our product to the great state of Illinois is a major milestone for us.”

Full House Resorts will be Circa’s partner in Illinois thanks to the new deal between the two companies. Full House is currently working on building a new casino in the state.

American Place temporary casino

American Place Casino won’t be open for a handful of years, but that isn’t stopping Circa from partnering up with the casino in advance.

Market access deals are a huge part of expanding a sportsbook to new states. With a partnership in hand, Circa now has the open door it needs to one of the biggest gambling markets in the entire US.

A Circa-branded retail sportsbook will be front and center when American Place eventually opens. That might not be until 2025, but Full House is opening a temporary casino at the location in the meantime.

The casino is appropriately-named “The Temporary by American Place,” and the building plans to open in a handful of months.

Since The Temporary will be open for business before long, that will give Circa a chance to dip its feet into the sports betting waters early.

In other words, Illinois gamblers will have access to the Circa Sports app sooner rather than later.

Full House Chief Development Officer Alex Stolyar believes that Circa is the perfect sports betting partner for the company.

“We promised Illinois a premium gaming and entertainment facility, and that includes a first-class sports book experience. We witnessed how Derek and his team have revolutionized the sports betting and viewing experience at Circa, and knew that they would be the right partner for American Place.”

Circa could become the ninth online sports betting app in Illinois if things get up and running quickly.
