Packers Super Bowl Odds: Bears’ Biggest Rival A Top Contender To Hoist The Trophy

The Green Bay Packers finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and they earned a first-round playoff bye for their efforts.

Now, the Chicago Bears’ bitter rival begins its playoff journey. The Packers will take on the 49ers on Saturday night as near touchdown favorites.

Despite plenty of in-season and offseason drama, the Packers were awesome in 2021. They finished the regular season 13-4 with a plus-79 point differential.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, center to said drama, is the runaway favorite to win MVP honors. He also won the award last season.

Below, take a look at Packers Super Bowl LVI odds at Illinois online sportsbooks. These will automatically be updated throughout the playoffs.

Packers 2022 Super Bowl odds

You can bet on Super Bowl futures at online sportsbooks in Illinois. Here are the current lines:

The Packers will have home-field advantage throughout the NFC Playoffs, and they are the biggest favorite on the board for the divisional round. Those are a few key reasons why they have the shortest odds of any team to win Super Bowl LVI.

The Chiefs, meanwhile, have to go up against a Bills team that just hung 47 points on a Bill Belichick defense. Meanwhile, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has a sprained shoulder and might not be able to suit up in Green Bay.

So the Packers will either be facing a rookie in Trey Lance or a banged-up Garoppolo. At home and coming off a bye week, Green Bay has a clear path to the conference title game.

That’s where things could get interesting, though the Packers would likely be favored at home against the Buccaneers or Rams. However, the Bucs beat Green Bay in the same spot last year, and Brady vs. Rodgers at Lambeau Field Part II would be excellent theater.

But this year Green Bay is healthier, as the Bucs have a few key offensive players injured.

While the Packers are Super Bowl favorites now, that might not stay the case after this week even if they win. That’s because the Chiefs-Bills winner would likely be a heavy favorite over the Bengals or Titans, the other AFC divisional matchup.

Super Bowl MVP futures odds

At DraftKings Sportsbook in Illinois, Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes are co-favorites to win the Super Bowl MVP.

Here are the current odds:

  • Aaron Rodgers: +450
  • Patrick Mahomes: +450
  • Josh Allen: +550
  • Tom Brady: +600
  • Matthew Stafford: +900

Online sports betting not legal in Wisconsin

While most of the states surrounding Wisconsin have legal online sports betting, the Badger State does not.

There is, however, limited retail sports betting. It is currently only available at Oneida Casino near Green Bay.

While that would seem to be a good sign for future online sports betting, as of now, there is no serious legislative momentum. Therefore, we don’t expect to see mobile sports wagering in WI any time soon.

But if you’re a Packers fan in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana or Iowa, you have plenty of options to choose from.
