If you’re planning a trip to Guaranteed Rate Field, there are some things you should know before making the commute.
There are parking lots all around the stadium, and they open two hours prior to first pitch. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and purchase parking passes ahead of time. If you’re taking the CTA, the red line Sox-35th stop is a short walk from the stadium.
Gates to Guaranteed Rate Field open 90 minutes before game time. No bags are allowed into the stadium outside of small clutch purses and diaper bags if an infant is present.
Sox games are going digital in 2023. All tickets must be downloaded on a mobile device and presented at the gate to gain stadium entrance.
Then once in the stadium, all retail, food and drink vendors will be completely cashless. That means you’ll need a card handy if you start craving a ballpark hot dog and beer during the game.
