Paul vs. Askren takes place at 8 p.m. CST on Saturday. You can watch the fight on FITE.tv, Triller or Triller Fight Club. It costs $49.99 to watch.
New Illinois DraftKings users must sign up at Casino Queen
Of course, it’s not as easy to sign up for DraftKings now as it was a few weeks ago.
That’s because Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker brought back the in-person sports betting registration requirement.
If you’d like to sign up for DraftKings in IL, you must visit DraftKings at Casino Queen in East St. Louis.
East St. Louis is hours away from the Chicagoland area, but as you can tell by the name, it’s in suburban St. Louis.
Once there, you can create an account and take advantage of this promotion.
DraftKings was the Illinois handle leader once again in the latest revenue report, taking in about $200 million in February bets.
FanDuel, meanwhile, led all Illinois sportsbook operators in revenue once again.
Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren odds
Paul is currently a -200 favorite at DraftKings, while Askren is a +150 underdog.
Paul is -118 to win by knockout (KO), timed knockout (TKO) or disqualification (DQ). Askren is +450 to win by KO, TKQ or DQ.
Askren is a retired MMA fighter and Olympic wrestler who has never fought in a boxing match before.
And Paul, ever the pot-stirrer, had this to say during the fight press conference:
“This is boxing versus MMA, and you’re going to see the difference. You’re going to see the difference of a wanna-be fighter, a guy who choked in the Olympics, a guy who choked in the UFC, and now a guy who is going to choke against Jake Paul. I’m going to end this guy’s career.”
For his part, Askren is unconcerned about fighting in his first boxing match.
“When you think about it, boxing is so much easier than mixed martial arts. You just have to take your two hands and punch somebody in the face,” Askren told MMA Fighting.
The fight will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
